A B O U T  U S   Founded in 1996 by Eddie and Carlia Jones and incorporated in 2004, Crowned for Victory, Inc. connects with communities and helps to establish healthy relationship, marriage education and youth programs and workshops for families that emphasize the importance of making right choices every day. The absence of a healthy family makes children more vulnerable to risky behavior. The best offensive to counter tough social issues – poverty, violence, drug abuse, teen pregnancy and high drop-out rates is to address the family as a whole.   Crowned for Victory, Inc. has been responding to the needs of families in the Southeast for over ten years, through partnerships with coalitions, corporations and faith-based groups. We provide accessibility to services that will increase families’ opportunities of forming and sustaining healthy communities.   A healthy family is important to Crowned for Victory, Inc. The provisions of healthy relationship skills to families will provide a vehicle to reduce social problems, divorce, poverty and domestic violence with couples and reduce out-of-wedlock pregnancies, drug abuse and delinquent and criminal behavior among youth.   To help to reduce the many social problems we have the following programs: Healthy Marriages and Families, Responsible Fatherhood, Positive Youth Development, Abstinence Education, Mentoring Youth, Men's Monday, and Community and Economic Development.   Crowned for Victory’s vision for rural and distressed communities is to help them create model communities that thrive: economically, socially and educationally. The vision was birthed from the desire to positively affect a person’s life. Thereby we take the stand and position this organization to focus on "Building Champions for Life" ©2004   Our Mission   Crowned for Victory, Incorporated’s vision is to enhance, restore, and strengthen the whole family unit within distressed neighborhoods and rural areas of the country. We will be an empowering organization that will mentor, educate and provide communities with the tools necessary to eliminate barriers. We will provide accessibility to services that will increase their opportunities of forming and sustaining healthy communities.     Positive Youth Development (R.U. WDIT)   Our goal of any youth program is to help the families of the community, by reaching the children first. The programs go beyond the walls of a church, school or home. They allow the community to connect individual efforts in reaching our next generation. By promoting and including school visits for youth leaders, we are always able to reach hundreds of youth and families. The youth programs provide early prevention of negative habits and relationship skills that will increase healthier relationships. The goal is to increase problem solving skills, better communication skills, respect, self worth and appreciation for one another. Our website www.ruwdit.com is currently being revamped.     Home Ownership Made Easy (HOME) Program The HOME program provides education, direction and instruction so that families can have the opportunity to successfully achieve and maintain homeownership.  A home is where family traditions are created and dreams are realized.
